Referral terms

1. How it works

Every SangoBureau user has a personal 6-character referral code, visible in Profile → Invitations. You share your personal link — e.g. sangobureau.com/r/ABC123 — with a friend. When they sign up via this link and create their first document (CV, quote, letter, photo, scan or message), you unlock a reward.

2. Who can participate

Anyone with an active SangoBureau account. Referrals are free, require no additional signup and stay active as long as your account is open.

3. What counts as «activation»

An invitation is considered activated when the invited person:

• Signs up via your referral link (the code attachment happens at signup, not later).
• Creates their first document from the app — a CV, quote, invoice, receipt, letter, ID photo or prepared WhatsApp message.

As long as your friend hasn't created anything, the invitation stays «pending» in your Invitations screen and triggers no reward.

4. Rewards unlocked

For the referrer

Each activated friend (verified payment) gives you 1 credit. A credit unlocks a document of any type, like a MoMo payment — without having to pay.

• 5 friends activated — +5 bonus units (10% of a Pack).
• 12 friends activated — +15 bonus units (30% of a Pack).
• 25 friends activated — +50 units · a free 50-document Pack.

Credits are capped at 20 unused per user and expire after 365 days. Bonus units are credited to your balance instantly, never expire, and are transferable to a friend or a customer (cyber café) — just like the units in a purchased Pack.

5. Fairness rules

To keep referrals fair for everyone, the following rules apply automatically:

• No self-referrals. You can't apply your own code to your own account or to a second account you control.
• One account per phone number. SangoBureau uses the OTP-verified mobile number as a unique identifier. Multiple signups with the same number aren't possible.
• No re-attribution. A friend who is already signed up and clicks your code can't be re-counted as a referral. The code is read only at the very first signup.
• Invalid codes ignored. If your friend arrives with no code, a mistyped code or one expired (over 7 days on their phone), signup proceeds normally but no reward is granted.
• Real activity required. A signup without a document does not trigger a reward — both to limit empty accounts and to ensure referrals benefit real users.

6. Suspension and abuse

If we suspect fraud — mass account creation, temporary numbers, automated activity — we reserve the right to suspend associated rewards and, if necessary, the account in question. The decision is made case-by-case and can be contested at hello@sangobureau.com.

7. Programme changes

The thresholds, rewards and rules described here may evolve. Any change is published on this page with its effective date. Rewards already earned (unlocked credits, credited bonus units) remain valid — they are never reclaimed retroactively.
